The Wedding

Saturday was cool and windy and not ideal. Thankfully that was rehearsal day. Sunday couldn’t have been more different in Santa Barbara as the sun was bright and warm, the air was clean and still.

Guests came from across the country for a fantastic wedding at Tamera’s sister Tia tied the knot with her boyfriend Corey. I grabbed a few shots and posted them here, maybe I have a future? :-)

Wow, beautiful Adam!!!
Tamera, your mother is georgous! No wonder and and Tia are so pretty!

Why is it Housley, that you are always surrounded by beautiful women? :-) One lucky man!!

Comment by Max Kon

Avi: i think Adam really was enjoying being in the middle of those girls this time. Especially because of that girl pressing into his right side. ;)
Adam: see, i’m playing nice this time. :-P

how did TMZ not brake into this wedding? lol

Don’t do it Adam……….Don’t listen to the women on this blog for this one. They just want to enlist you into their little secret world of female dominance. To have you cowar before the very rib that was taken from you in the first place. To control your very existence on this planet.
If you can make it to forty without getting hitched you’ll start to outgrow the urge to do so, thus re-establishing your dominance as the male in this society. Remember, if it flies, floats or f***s………lease it. And one more thing…………Uh,oh got’ta go…….got’ta fix my girlfriend some lunch after I pick up her kid from daycare and stop at the store to buy some………See ya.

Adam, again, great pictures. If your current job doesn’t work out, I think you could become a wedding photographer! Just Kidding! We all know you are the best reporter at Fox.

Comment by FL Sunshine

I heard about Eli’s wedding on F&F this morning so at first I thought Adam went, then I thought maybe it was his own wedding. It was nothing more than a tease I’m sure. Adam knew we would all jump to conclusions ….right Adam? ha ha!

Comment by Susan-AZ

Great pictures– I sure like the one with you and the girls–

Tamera’s dress is stunning and she looks so beautiful–

congratulations! Did you catch the bouquet?

Comment by Kathy in Tx

This looks wonderful Adam, I am sure they are a very happy couple. It looks like it was stunning, Tamera and Tia both beautiful. Hard not to focus on a bride, even here when you know it is her day. Tamera will be a beautiful bride.

Comment by Jennifer in ATL

Oh gosh….Adam. I’m with Patty on this one. I know I’ve been out for awhile, but I thought immediately that I’d missed ‘your’ wedding announcement. I got all excited for you and Tamera!
:-)
But a big congrats to Tia. She looks gorgeous…as does Tamera, but that is nothing new. They always look good. And Adam…you are definitely ‘the man.’ You and the girls. Nice.

john..

I concur

LIVE THE DREAM ADAM…all of us men in servitude to the fairer sex, are living vicariously through you.

Just keep dodging the bullet, and don’t let Tamera see this, if she does, she will immediately send out the telepathic signal to all women that I have broken free from the mind control (if only for a moment to post this) and my wife will be alerted…

my fate will then be seal…I will be forced into the reprogramming chamber (chick flicks and laundry duty) and will spend countless hours apologizing for even thinking that I miss my natural habitat (bar rooms, strip clubs, grungy bachelor pad, cinder block furniture, cold beer on weekends, playoff tickets, Saturdays in a hammock)

ahhhhhh

YO Max you taking the SAT’s?

Comment by Max Kon

Avi: Since i’m not an American they said i didn’t have to take the SATs. It’s because it’s not so easy to arrange to take them outside the US, so you should contact the University you want to go to and see if they require you to take the SATs since you live in Israel, even though you are an American.

Comment by Becky

Beautiful pictures Adam! Congratulations to Tia!

Comment by Avi

Max,

I have to take it since im applying as an American next year im pretty sure im doing it like that( not sure yet). The reason i asked is because they are just a pain in the A** …. arrangment is easy i registered on the College Board site …. Taking mine May 4 the questions are super tricky…. and annoying and its not like a typical test like youd take in school its like tricked out … Lucky you….

Comment by Max Kon

Avi: well if you’re going to go to a state university in Florida it’s definately worth while seeing how much you save. If it’s a state university in a different state then you might be able to get away with not taking it.

Comment by Avi

Max,

I’m mostly likely going to to private and if i do go to a state school definitely not FSU ( more likely a safe school.) theres no way of getting away of the SAT its just one of those things you gotta do lol…. ill probably take it twice as most people do ……

@Avi

You are aware that this is closely linked to the Jonathan Jay Pollard case, yes? Same period of time (about 1985) and same handler identified. The only “gee whiz” about this is why the U.S. hauled out a 20 year old case *now*. I gave this some thought and all I could come up with was “just taking out the trash”. Make of that what you will.

@Susan-AZ

That makes you… 29 years old now, right? ((grin))

the ancient gentlemen-know-better-than-to-guess-a-lady’s-age rule applies: women of adult age are their actual age until 21, then are 21 for the next 8 years, then 29 from that point on…

What a gorgeous wedding!! It looked like such a beautiful day.

As someone who will be getting married next October, I am very curious as to who made Tamera’s dress. I can see my maids-of-honor (I have 2) wearing something like that.

She, along with her sister, looked absolutely stunning!

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Comment by Patty

Amanda, if you google tia, you will find info on her pre wedding plans, i think the dress designer was listed.

Avi,

spying between friends is as old as history, the media will make a big deal out of nothing and the anti-semites (sp?) will put in their puny two cents…but nothing will change between the US and Israel.

Comment by Carrie--2 more days!!!

(I wish I had the proper keys on this computer to be typing in Spanish!)

Obviously, my problem is changing the verbs. However, for the last… well, since Mexico, I haven’t had a problem communicating in Spanish. Of course, understanding it is always easier than speaking or writing it. That’s half the battle, and I can hold my own on speaking. My point always gets across.

When I was 10, there was a Mexican guy on the team. He spoke like no English. I told him he pitched good with my hands with a thumbs up. But I knew he was a great guy. Vibes are universal. One day I was chewing gum on a picinic table. Narcisco came to me and said, “Tienes chicle?” I was confused and he repeated himself. I looked at my mom like ‘chicken, what?’ and she told me he wanted to know if I had any more gum. That’s when I knew I had to be able to communicate in Spanish; it has to be easy. Tienes chicle means do you have gum, that’s easy enough, and my mom remembered after how many years since high school… and 20 years later, yo no tengo problemas!

Ademas, Gracias para los saludos de mi boda! Este sabado… tan pronto! No puedo creerlo!

Comment by Susan-AZ

Carrie–

escribes bien el español y lo bueno es que tratas de hablar y escribir el español– No se te vaya olvidar tomar fotos de la boda- I really want to see the pictures–

I bet you are just ecstatic- I will miss you not being here but you will be off somewhere in love!

Many best wishes to you and your future hubbie. Is he going to let you blog? Say hi to him from me!
